Off grid demonstration Raffles Lighthouse
The demonstration is located offshore near the Raffles Lighthouse on Pulau Satumu, about 14 kilometres south of the main island of Singapore.
The key objective of the demonstration is to supply clean tidal energy to the Raffles Lighthouse to replace diesel with clean energy and the reduction of the carbon footprint, through the decarbonisation of port waters and islands.
Grid demonstration Sentosa Boardwalk
This demonstration is located at the Sentosa Boardwalk, on the main island of Singapore.
The key objective is to harness the tidal energy flowing under the existing infrastructure and to deliver this clean energy into the grid. This will help reduce greenhouse emissions, which is part of the island’s decarbonisation initiatives.
